A Warning to us all

Earlier this month Mhaldor decided to break a ceasefire that was to have
stood until the serenade that approaches, by occupying the Dawnstrider
icon and killing those who peacefully tended their icon. I admit that
the unusual agreement between two irreconcilable enemies was reached
only following extreme circumstances, however, it was an agreement that
bound either side.

Is anything sacred to Mhaldor? Evidently not their word. I hope all
other organizations who have entered into a formal treaty, or even a
tacit agreement with Mhaldor are aware that the terms will only stand so
long as they are favourable to Mhaldor, and are liable to be broken at a
moment's notice. Your agreements do not protect you, they simply allow
Mhaldor to grow stronger with potential enemies divided and subdued.

Previously, I have sometimes taken the attitude, when I have seen other
cities raided, that it was not my affair. For what it is worth, I will
no longer do so. I, and as many as I can persuade, will join any
conflict against Mhaldor, because such a War, even if it only results in
my own death, is preferable to the mirage of peace Mhaldor now offers to
many of you. I hope others don't learn too late the value Mhaldor puts
on its word.
