Mortal,
You do not need to worry about the strategy of the Aegeans, for you see
our war is not against the Church. As has been stated all along, we have
yet to attack any shrines of the My dear sister Tarah or My sister
Miramar. As for Phaestus, you can review for yourself in My prior
posting that anyone assisting in the conflict against the Elysians will
bring conflict to their chosen patron. Your mate, Baldazar, has attacked
numerous Aegean shrines and even went as far as to kill an Aegean for
shrines that are not even his. Since it has become obvious that attacks
on Pentharian and Mithraea do not seem to affect Baldazar, it became
apparent that we had to pick a target that would show him we mean
business. I have also chosen to release the name of Yarantan, who was
the fool who decided to once again attempt to defile a shrine in My
temple in the presence of My dead High Priest. If you review, you will
see that it was not the Aegeans who began your so-called "thuggery", but
were those who brought war inside My temple.
This is not a war with the Phaestians, but merely a collection of the
essence lost due to one of your members. If you wish no more further
harm, I suggest heeding our warning next time and keeping your members
from the conflict.
To the Elysians, we have presented you with a single simple demand which
was to publically announce your surrender and the immediate cessation of
all hostility towards My family. Somehow, you have again chosen to spin
lies, saying that the Aegeans demanded payment in a large sum of gold as
well. Currently we sit on a horde of gold, so such a tribute would mean
nothing to us, but spin your actions as you will. A simple surrender is
all it will take to end this, but you choose instead to fight back with
pitiful tactics that do nothing more than annoy. So be it...
