"Proof"

I had meant to post on this sooner, but old age and large schedules tend
to get in the way of remembering to spend money on public posts.

I was there the day the Lady Selene accepted the Great Bard's proposal
and I was there as She collapsed. It was I who made the suggestion that
the Lady's condition was caused by the engagement. When Lord Scarlatti
disbelieved and called to the Lady Mithraea for help, all She did was
confirm what I had said.

I can only provide 'proof' as requested by several Mitrans a number of
months ago, by saying that I was there as well as state by memory of my
first hand account. No amount of old age will wipe the memory of the
Great Bard's anguish from my mind.

I do not doubt that the Lady Sol, as a Goddess might have had Her own
suspicions about the consequences of the relationship between Lady
Selene and the Great Bard, but I dare not assume what thoughts might go
through a Divine's head or what They might supposedly scheme. I will
state clearly though, that I saw no indication by my mortal eyes that
the Lady Sol had pre-empted any of this.

And to forestall future and wild accusations, no there could not have
been any scheming on my part with Her because at the time of that
incident I was a Mhaldorian, someone who stood against all the Lady
Sol's ideals. I was definitely not in any place to interact with Her
beyond fizzy blue fire and having my corpse offered.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Phaestian, in the year 418 AF.
