Lin'Quei: It's like justice with a barbed tip.

Greetings once again, Sapience!

This is a formal statement issued by the Lin'Quei. We would like
everyone to know that this sloppy and half-hearted dissection of a
Shallamese orphan is not condoned by our organization in the least. A
misinformed peasant made the mistake of asking one of our minions if we
were in any way responsible, and as it reached the more decisive powers
in the organization we grew disgusted and insulted.

For bringing about a negative view on our most civilized of
organizations, we have issued fines to each person who appeared at that
most unorganized of rituals. Of course, the presenter of the happenings
as well as the one who conducted them will receive larger fines. I make
my own personal apology to Shallam that they had to endure such a savage
display. We here at the Lin'Quei aspire to correct such misguided evil,
and do hope you all have the patience for these most unwilling of
subjects.

And for the Logos' sake, at least wear some gloves next time.

Fanatically yours,

Marcalo De'Unnero, Lin'Quei

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Daedalan, in the year 418 AF.
