In lieu of the love in the news lately, I come to you with a heartfelt
apology.

I never truly loved you. Now don't misunderstand me. You are a wonderful
jester with a pure heart. You will no doubt find some very nice
girl/guy/random denizen to fulfill your needs.

In being the demented creature that I am, I feel that I misled you. I
have learned to embrace this rather interesting (and profitable) side of
myself. I hope that you can, too.

Feel free to brag about the grand relationship that never was. You
deserve that at least. After all, I am quite the catch if one were to
believe the rumours.
