'True love' as it were

Ephram,
Far be it from me to sound like a pompous ass (although I'm sure I do it
quite well), but I dare say you need to define true love before you can
ever hope to find such a thing. In fact, it would do you well to define
fake or false love as well. Mark the differences, if indeed you can make
such a classification.
As for whether love can conquer all.. you assume that love is a
conscious entity with the power to act. Where is the evidence for such a
claim? How can love do any such thing? What you speak of is an emotion.
And while it is true that this emotion has great ability to alter
people's perceptions, thoughts and actions, love in and of itself merely
is. It is many things, and it has many forms. The love you speak of is a
tool, as is anger or sadness. Keep in mind there is a much greater Love
that all should strive to achieve.
Too few people actually Love each other, limiting themselves to the
emotion and resting satisfied with such an achievement. Emotions are
readily available to all. The deeper meaning is available should you
seek it.
