My Wayward Siblings

Lord Neraeos,
Shrines do not make an Order, and they certainly do not break an Order.
My Father's wayward Children, as you call Us, do not rely on Shrines for
any activity or projects, nor do we place high emphasis on them, because
our Father sleeps and has no need for His essence currently.
That being said, I find it amusing that You, Lord, and Your Children
insist on prodding a sleeping Giant. Our Father is sleeping, as You seem
to be aware, and yet You persist in being a bully to Us who have left
You alone for many years now. I will thank You not to speak so
condescendingly to my Father, nor to speak so blasphemously about my
Siblings.
I have never had any conflict with the Sea, or You, my Lord, or Your
Children. Even when my Siblings have taken up the banner of war against
You, I sat idly by and watched, and let them fight a war that I refused
to participate in because I did not understand it. Now, however, you
have caused injury to my Family, insult to my Father, and You have
threatened to invade our holy places. This, my Lord, will not do.
We are not a war-loving group, though we have had our share of wars. We
prefer to be left alone, to our own devices, and we greatly dislike to
have some large, bumbling enemy come swaggering to our doorstep. My
Lord, I am a humble and gentle creature. But I have a fire within me
that is quite explosive when ignited. If you threaten my Family, and
insult my Father, you will meet my fire and the fire of my Siblings. I
have the utmost respect for You, my Lord, but You know not what you do.
We are the Children of the Lord of Darkness. We are a Family that is
unbreakable, and we will defend one another AND our Sleeping Father,
from any who may attempt to undercut that, be they mortal or God. We are
shadows, my Lord, and even the Seas have that.
In Darkness,
