Slith's influence, hmm?

We have not attempted to defend against any view of Yours concerning
Slith and our ranks, because simply enough we've been unable to confirm
anything You've accused the Church of doing.
Half of Your story collapsed when Pandora's chosen spoke out otherwise.
The Erisians have been oddly silent on the matter, or at least I have
heard of nothing from them. So, of course we've not cast any out any of
those You have accused, as we've found nothing to show they are lying
when they deny having done what You say.
So yes, we wonder about You, and about Your motivations. Hopefully You
would not be motivated to war simply by mortal manipulation, but it's
possible. Certainly, we've had some experience with divine acting not
quite... normal, on the other hand. Acting aggressively without reason,
or with poorly manufactured reason. And we have found out why. It wasn't
possession, and would not appear the same.
You have chosen opponents for what appears to be stilted reasons
regarding unsubstantiated events. Yes, we are wondering about you. In
return, all we have done is defend against these attacks. Perhaps you
see Slith's influence in self-defence. I don't.
