Dear Lord Aegis and His faithful followers,


The Order of the Lady Mithraea will stay silent no more.

We have been accused of defiling shrines of Lord Aegis and of Lady Eris.
We have been accused of assisting in the defilement of shrines of Lord
Aegis. We have been accused of supporting the Church of Shallam. All
these accusations are based of either old facts or recent half-truths.

Yes, we have one Mitran who defiled a shrine of Lady Eris, long before
he was a member of the Mitras. Yes, we had one Mitran who defiled a
shrine of Lady Eris, this situation was handled between the two Orders
and settled. Yes, we had one or two Mitrans who assisted in defending
the sacred grounds of a temple. For this, we are being attacked.

The Order of the Lady Mithraea has never been, or will ever be part of
the Church of Shallam, despite popular belief. Our ways lie along
different paths, even if our goals might be similar.
The Mitras have not ordered any attacks on any shrines before today.
However, the Mitras will from today allow any Mitran, should they feel
the urge and need, to return the favour to the Order of Lord Aegis. An
act in the defence of our shrines and faith.

You can take down our shrines, our places of worship, but You cannot
take our faith. Each shrine You tear down, it will be rebuilt with the
love, blood and sweat of the devoted followers, making us stronger in
mind, body and soul.
