Valour?

Osis,
You seem to think that your petty defiling of Lady Keresis' shrines
demonstrates your valour and your commitment to fighting evil. I would
not have you lead all of Sapience astray with so great a lie!
Tell me, Osis, what do you know of Vengeance? Did you bother to find out
whether the followers of Vengeance are opposed to Good, or did you
merely hear somewhere that Vengeance is scary, and therefore Evil? One
would hope that someone who 'never stops believing that Evil will be
vanquished,' as you put it, would select his targets carefully, and
perhaps choose the ones that are truly opposed to his own ideals.
Even if you did consider Vengeance to be Evil, I remember your defiling
clearly. It showed nothing of the valour which you are so eager to
proclaim in words. Do you not recall how you chose the shrine farthest
out from the mainland, so as to minimize the possibility of conflict
with me and my 'evil' siblings? How when any of us approached, you
scuttled back to Shallam as a rat into its warm, safe cave? Is this what
you would term "never hiding yourself from a fight?"
Now I rejoice when I hear the drums of war, Osis, and I think of how you
must be looking for somewhere to hide while composing your next speech
about your eagerness to fight.
