A Clarification

Stratos,
You are indeed correct. I was not there for the event, it having
happened well over a century ago. Therefore, the best I can do is rely
on the records of the time.
The records say:
"By sacrificing their Groves to save their guild tutor, the forest had
rejected them as caretakers."
If you believe this to be incorrect, you are certainly welcome to take
it up with the Divine or Celani who wrote it. As for myself, I cannot be
held responsible for its veracity, and I do not believe I can be greatly
faulted for assuming the credibility of such a source.
My post was in no way meant to criticize the Sentinels. They did what
they did, and the results are as they are. I will not attempt to assign
my perceptions of right and wrong to their actions.
My post was, in fact, attempting to illustrate that actions have
consequences, even with respect to the forests, and even disregarding
Oakstone. I believe that, in general, this is the sort of thing
traditional forestals would agree with.
With Regards,
Apollodorus Tatharin
