Hail and Good Tidings, People of Sapience!
It is my distinct pleasure to announce the winners of the Painting
Contest (See Public News 15721 for the details of this event) held as
part of Blufest 413: Cyrene Celebrates Culture.
A total of 11 entries were submitted for the first category of the
contest, and six for the second category. Five judges were selected for
each category, each picking their top three selections in rank order. A
numeric value was then assigned for each (5 points for 1st, 3 points for
2nd and 1 point for 3rd) and the scores were tallied up to determine the
winners.

1st Place - Thomas, the Carriage Driver, by Xethros

Of special note, Xethros' painting rendering Thomas earned the special
and unique distinction of being selected as the grand winner by all five
judges. A special bravo for that!
PRIZES: The winners of each category receive
First Place - 25 credits
Second Place - 15 credits
Third Place - 10 credits
All of these paintings have been binded together into a special picture
book, entitled "Cerulean Scenes: A Compilation of Cyrenian Paintings".
A special thank you to all who shared their creativity and inspiration
by participating in this contest, and to our judges. Congratulations to
our winners!
