Dear Khalid,

Your derision is misplaced. When the God of Evil, Lord Sartan, raised
Mhaldor from solid rock so many years ago, He was not creating just a
mere city but a new way of life. Mhaldor stands for the eternal
proposition that mortals should be free to pursue the limits of their
greatness. We have, ever since, laboured to bring that vision to all of
Sapience.

As history has shown, spreading the Truths of Evil takes more than a
creative marketing department. Mere slogans will not topple Shallamese
Icons, nor fend off Eastern assaults. Evil is not a game show.
Unshackling this world from the mores of the Church has taken the
discipline, courage, and very lives of hundreds of adventurers.
Internecine bickering would be an insult to their memory, a step
backwards when the times call for the combined efforts of Evil peoples
everywhere.

By all means, brother Khalid, advertise and proclaim the greatness and
veracity that is the Evil Life. Our philosophy has many facets and we
should celebrate our differences. But let us never forget what so many
have sacrificed that you and I might pursue our destinies free from
Eastern meddling. All that would live free share a common foe, would
that we treated each other so in public.
