Greetings and Salutations, people of Sapience.
What better time than a Cyrenian festival dedicated to cultural
activities, craftsmanship and the arts to announce that Cyrene has a new
artist in town? Zigfrey, a talented Xorani virtuoso, has set up shop
outside of Cyrene's gift shop, Blu's Den of Delights. He is selling some
very unique and beautifully designed parchments, writs and scrolls.
Zigfrey offers hand-crafted cards for nearly every special occasion.
Whether you seek birthday parchments for those special friends, wedding
tablets for the happy couple, shimmering invitations perfect for that
special occasion, get well cards, scrolls of congratulations - he even
renders comedic cards for that reckless friend that just keeps dying!
Not to mention his beautiful Cyrenian-inspired parchments and scrolls,
perfect as a momento commemorating that special trip to the Southern
Vashnars. To see his pieces in more detail, simply ask him to allow you
to see a particular item more closely and he will gladly oblige.
Upon request, Zigfrey will even inscribe your selection with no
additional charge. His pieces are wonderful additions to that special
gift box, bag or letter.
From Centre Crossing, simply travel southwesterly direction to find
Zigfrey outside of our local gift shop.
Thanks to the craftsmanship and creativity of our citizens, our gift
shop, located NW from Zigfrey, also has some relatively recent
additions, including falcon statuettes, bejeweled blue leather scabbards
and plush stuffed toys of our beloved Balaia to complement the stuffed
wolf and bunny already in stock. For those of you who haven't visited
recently, Fredericia is also selling very filling heart-shaped boxes of
chocolates, magnificent falconry gloves and gorgeous crystal flower
vases.
You still have seven months to enter the Cyrenian Blufest Painting
Contest! The deadline for entering is the end of Valnuary 414.
The grand winners of each category will be awarded the distinction of
"Master Painter". Other prizes include:
First Place - 25 credits
Second Place - 15 credits
Third Place - 10 credits
As mentioned in the original post, if there are enough entries to
warrant it, smaller prizes will be provided for the winners in the
subcategories as well. All of the pictures, paintings and portraits will
be binded into a collection of paintings to be showcased in the Cyrenian
library.
Details for the Blufest Master Painter Contest to be found in PUBLIC
NEWS #15721.
Cyrenian Talent Show - As part of Blufest, we will also be offering a
Cyrenian Talent Show for your entertainment. The talent show will be
begin on approximately the 8th of Scarlatan, 414 AF. Please contact our
Minister of Cultural Affairs if you have questions and stay tuned for
further details as the event draws near.
As a final note, thanks to all of you who attended our 125th birthday
celebrations. We hope you enjoyed the parade, picnic, games and other
festivities! We very much appreciate the good will you brought along
with you in sharing our celebration with us.
In the Spirit of the Festival,
Beneficia, Imperiate of Cyrene
Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Mayan, in the year 413 AF.
