Greetings and good tidings, people of Sapience.

As Imperiate of Cyrene, it is my distinct pleasure to announce Cyrene's
125th birthday since our refounding this month. On behalf of the city, I
invite you to join with us in celebrating this and the upcoming
festival, "Blufest 413: Cyrene Celebrates Culture", which will be
occuring in the months to follow.

A Cyrenian parade, complete with floats, will kick off the official
festivities this month on the 24th of Valnuary. A picnic will be
provided immediately after the parade, complete with games and great
prizes. Keep an ear open for inviting shouts coming from the direction
of the Cyrenian valley in the Southern Vashnars as the time approaches
as we will be beckoning the crowd to gather before the parade.

The theme of this festival will be celebrating cultural activities,
craftsmanship and the arts. We will be offering more events this
festival that are open to folks who are not citizens of Cyrene, so that
all might partake in the fun and get a taste of Cyrenian culture. One of
these events will be an art contest for those who have talent in the
visual arts and painting. Stay tuned into the news, as details will be
forth-coming on that. A talent show, arena events and competitions
showcasing the art of combat are also on the agenda throughout the
months to come.

On behalf of the city, I invite you all to come and enjoy the city, its
people and its talent on both our birthday and during the upcoming
festival. We ask only that you have a good time and reciprocate the
respect and good will that we extend to you during this time of
celebration and always.
