The Evensong Lineage

It was time for the ending of a long day, which began with a dawning of
light, glowed with a red sun, and now sets into darkness. At the end of
this day, we both mourned and rejoiced. We raised our voices in an
evening song, a melody of the setting day. Through the night we heard
the whispers of the echoing song, resounding in the wind.
When we awoke, daybreak was upon us again. The night and darkness had
ended, but the sounds of our evening canticle remained. And so we took
upon ourselves the namesake of our canticle. With this, the lineage of
the Evensong is birthed.
We welcome you who choose to join with us, with open arms. We welcome
the return of our children, with love and joyous smiles.
With well wishes and good tidings,
Mother Aila Evensong & Gondus Evensong
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Sarapin, in the year 412 AF.
