Thank you to all who expressed interest in this competition. Many
members have shown a great interest, including some of our younger
members, which is encouraging to see.

During the course of one year (12 ooc days) ALL House members are
invited to create a picture which best encompasses Sylvan life and
values. The mediums you can use are open. For example, you may create a
collage, use paints, pastels, charcoal or any other material readily at
your disposal. For ease and realitys sake the size is limited to 2 feet
squared and must essentially be two dimensional (i.e. no sculptures,
etc).

Only one submission per Member, as it ought be highly personal and
encompass all meaningful aspects to them. House members that wish to
apply are asked to send a message to me in the following format:
- Title of the picture
- Materials used to create the picture
- Description of the picture
- A short justification as to why you chose certain materials or
included certain aspects in your picture

If you are unsure what a painting may look like in our World (as there
are so few), you can refer to a book written by Kurai within the House
Hall. It contains collections of works across Sapience.

All three submissions will have detailed replicas of their work
folio-bound and displayed within the House Hall.

In addition, place winners will receive credits or gold.
1st 10 credits
2nd 5 credits
3rd 15000 gold


Keep an eye open for a list of submissions which will be posted in
Sylvani news. All House members will then be invited to vote for their
favourite picture.
