Darkness and Light

Darkness and light
It's all in your head
From the first wave you're reeling
And can't see the dead
Good and evil
It's all in your hands
Praying for someone else's salvation
When you're already damned
Hold on to the night
While you still can
Because you can't foresee your end
Through the shadows you scan
Nobody's forcing you here
Nobody's holding you down
But nobody can save you
From your own haunting sound
So know thyself, child
And know thy own kind
Because though you may see
You will always be blind
Heed the intution
That brings cold to your bones
And remember the voice
Of the ghost on the phone
Darkness and light
One will always fall apart
But you would do well
To let neither in your heart.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Mayan, in the year 282 AF.
