I wish I could find the words to tell you what you mean to me

I wish I could thank you for all you've done

I wish you could see how important you are to me

But all the utterances in the world, all the praising and thanks, all
the gold, silver, jewels, all the power, and all the love, do not add up
to what I owe you.

I wish I could apologize for all the times I've hurt you, and for all
the times I might in the future

I wish I could go to sleep in your arms every night, your voice being
the last I hear and your face being the last I see.

I wish I could be there to comfort you every time you are sad, and to
smile with you when you are happy

I wish I could repay the debt that exists, but it would take an
eternity, and even then, wouldn't be paid.

All I can say is thank you for everything, and I can promise to love you
forever. It may not seem like much, but it is said from the bottom of my
heart.

I hope you read this, and have some sense of how you've affected my
life.

But mostly, I hope I get to spend the rest of my life with you, and that
nothing ever comes between our love for each other.
