Looking back on days of hazy sunlight
Calmness washing over all of us
When my heart remained at peace, enlightened
When we all were friends in sacred trust

Where are you, days so lightly meaured?
Happy times we've shared, the jokes we've had?
Where are you, friendship that we treasured?
We have all become completely mad...

One has grown so distant with his longing
One resigned in full to desperate love
Two had grown apart, their souls' long forging
Shattered by life's lightning from above

Now we share our tears and not our gladness
Two of us will never speak again
Now our common bond becomes our sadness
What will of our happiness remain?!!


But for now, in quiet contemplation
I'll remember craziness and fun
Laughter, gesturing in animation...
Knowing not where life's cruel course will run.
