hope

HOPE

The smile on a sleeping child's face,
the cooing of a dove,
a stream's water trickling past,
the moment of silence when twilight turns to night.

So many things are symbols of hope,
they don't have to be beautiful.
the dying gasp of a child in pain,
shows that they are comfortable now.

Hope can be fragile, it may break like glass
or it may be fire that keeps burning on.
It all depends how much you care,
how much you want to succeed.
