Addressed to: Everyone
Surprise me while I'm bathing
Enthrall me with your pipes
Then gore me on your twisted horns
And crush me underhoof
Chase me laughing, crying, screaming
Through endless plains of asphodels
Soak my pale gown in the waterfall
Kiss the roses back into my cheeks
Let us hand in hand dance hot and mad
Round a pagan god who's us combined
Round a chance encounter turned to fate
Between these ancient columns walks
A hirsute beast who growls and stalks
A feral man of no discretion
A chimera who begs the question
What part of me is beastly also?
I've woman's limbs and woman's torso
Headed, faced like her, and like her fingered
So what's this niggling doubt that lingers?
Humanity in every part
Except I've got a Serpent's heart
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Phaestian, in the year 960 AF.
