One good shot

The storm came on so quick I couldn't run. One minute we were grooving and the next minute I was grabbing my shield. Your rage clapped like thunder blast. With the shutters closed their is nothing left to worry about now that the war is out.

Got on my mount and rode all around. Say the smoke raise from the village square. Felt the fear of tyrants hide the truth. It's time to put it all on the line. Let's see how you do in a dogfight.

You got one good shot, you better damn well take it/ You better throw that fist around and get yourself ready to dance. When they kidnap you from your crown I hope there is no doubt it never matter what came out of your mouth.

The wind went howling louder than a crowd of wolves. I remember staring at my breath like it was my ghost. Took a heavy swig of everything and I soldered down the road. There ain't nothing left of what I called home.

I saw the mountains turn back to the sea, I watched the world I knew open up beneath my feet. I kept my hands on the reigns and I showed my teeth.

By the power invested in me you'll be torn apart at the seams for all the world to see. It's time you learned about true humility.

When in the hour when I take your crown I hope that there is no doubt that it never mattered what came out your mouth.

Now that the war is out.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Valnuary, in the year 953 AF.
