Or perhaps my trusty, faithful sword?
One wields power to hush, the other to sway.

With a brush, I can paint words that play,
Transforming thoughts into a lyrical chord.

Though a sword may cut and cause dismay,
Its silence cannot craft beauty restored.
One wields power to hush, the other to sway.

In verse, the brush guides what I convey,
Each stroke a tale or heartfelt accord.

Words, like a river, they rush and array,
Impacting hearts with their poetic reward.
One wields power to hush, the other to sway.

So, I choose my brush without delay,
For with it, my voice will never be ignored.
