Mirroring Hope

Far too many of my family and mates
Reacting, not reasoning their fates.

They fail to see the irony, it's true,
But you and I, we know what's due.

Mirroring a mirror monster's plight,
Isn't that just a silly sight?

To free it from its reflective hold,
Smash it with courage, not fear so cold.

Imagine now, each breaking day,
Telling the entity jokes in our warm way.

See that mirror crack and shatter,
Laughter causing its form to scatter.

With hope as our big red mallet,
We strike with courage, not a ballot.

Each fracture an emotional release,
Granting the dangerous one a chance for peace.

To break the reflection's endless bind,
Offer laughter, and freedom it'll find.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Ero, in the year 951 AF.
