Who Knows What I Could've Turned Into

Written by: Annase Doudegen D'Arcangeli

Knowledge is not something to be afraid of.
The more I read, the more I learned,
Even Death can be something to love,
Views that are constantly censored, burned.

Thoughts that rulers demand voiceless,
People, unaware, have become choiceless.
Is this really the way of life?
Sickly keep on twisting the knife.

Either burn everything or burn nothing,
It'll leave subjects with more questions.
To think that I used to look up to you.

Who knows what I could've turned into.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Lupar, in the year 950 AF.
