They tug at the stings of the heart
Feelings are silly things
From the end to the start

Rising and falling
Tides of the ocean
Fickle darting fish
Don't give them a start

Understand them? Nobody does
No books no libraries nor sages
Sometimes thorns, sometimes roses
Shifting at the speed of thought

The golden pen writes
In the ink of melancholy
Stories of feelings, silly things
These too, shall pass
