And in short, I was afraid.
To have gazed upon the naked face
of the rawest emotions man or god
can conceive upon--and I have stepped away.
For there exist some things no man should embrace
explore decipher define or do anything of the sort
lest he step into the preterpresent abyss
that runs below
all things.
All things including love, respect, parenthood
and to look into the eyes of the sun--
at times the truest poetry is through aversion found.
