Raynor, the Grumpy Troll

Oh Raynor, troll of old,
With a heart as grumpy as they come, or so we're told.
From Eleusis, land of nature's might,
Where you learned to live with all your spite.

To young especially, you show no grace,
Kicking shins with such a sourpuss face.
But we know your secret, yes we do,
That beneath that gruff exterior lies a heart so true.

The prickly pear is your closest friend,
But it's your teachings that we'll cherish till the end.
For beneath that rough and prickly skin,
Lies a mentor with a heart within.

And though you pretend to be mean and tough,
We all know it's just a bluff.
For deep down, we know you truly care,
And teach us well with a rare flair.

Your secret is out, you grumpy old troll,
Your heart's as warm as a cinnamon roll.
Beneath your scowl and prickly guise,
A kind heart and gentle spirit lies.

So here's to you, dear Raynor the grump,
From Eleusis, where nature's wonders never slump.
May your legend live on and on,
And your rough exterior never be gone.
