Grand stairwells and chandeliers
Mortal desires fulfilled

Would you use bricks? Kiln-fired and firm
More walls within walls
Structures everlasting
No term

Your island expands
Wealth displayed through a door
Such expense for the honour
Though even rich, you are poor

If you had an island
What if it grew?
Vines and flora, no walls
Land reclaimed, anew

Do you need an island?
I do not know. Perhaps
But there are plenty of islands
They're all there on the maps

When you own this island
And build walls within walls
As you slumber within mortar
Hear Nature when She calls
