Waking

Written by: Actual Dragon Cailin C. Distara, of the Daisies
Date: Tuesday, October 18th, 2022
Addressed to: Tendril Kipposhi, of the Magnolia

I woke up from slumber and found the night
so dark but newly bright
The stars shone in glittering splendor

The
Moon

The moon!
how long since I had seen it
So grand, its lustre beaming
seldom rivalled and never exceeded

The night wind drifts through the trees and
welcomes me home
As the moonlight waxes ever brighter

I had forgotten
my gods
I had forgotten what it was like

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Valnuary, in the year 900 AF.
