Vulnerability is power,
you're just too weak to see.
What is within, goes without,
and steadily returns with a moan.
As above, so below.

What one meek soul can bring to bear,
tears enough for a sea.
What once was shed, now stuffing the bed,
feathers may yet be regrown.
As below, so above.

I told you once, that all we see,
amounts to lights dancing upon the wall.
There's nothing above,
except what's below.

All the timber and stone, of all the falling towers,
amounts to walls refusing to be a home.
A light in the windows above, or fire resting among flowers,
from so far below, Desire wrote the entire tome.
