Ever-shifting earth,
change is the only constant
through Her long lifetime

Moving of mountains
Their strength eroded slowly,
Dust to build anew

Our lives intertwined
with cycles of the seasons
Coming and going

Her life, infinite
Her defense must be unending
As is Her future

Cities fall, gods are killed
Mortal memories shall fade
In time, we too fade

Returned to nature
New life, new breath, new existence
The cycle continues
