Alcohol waves
in champagne buckets.

Chocolate sailors
in paper boats.

Cake for dinner,
and we're more than okay.

So much laughter,
a tomorrow, a future.

Life with you outside of everything we've ever known.

And even though it's you and me,
and equal parts excitement and familiarity,
and it's business as usual...
