Too proud to tell you how I feel.

Why do you men do this to me?
I start to care, I open my heart and then take it for granted can't you see?
I try to help you heal, you push me away.
Yet I wear a fake smile and say I'm fine anyway...
I give my all, everything I have.
I am a strong woman til you take my emotions and throw them around like a ragdoll.
I love you but I wish you would open up to me.
It's not fair when I gave you my heart and the key.
Yet you put up walls and keep me at a distance.
Because another took your world and ripped it out of existence.
I am not like that, I wouldn't shatter you or destroy you.
She isn't a person if she would make you that blue.
I'm sorry, I can't be her. I'm sorry I can't be what you need.
This is hurting you just as much as it is me.
You'll probably never read this and that's okay.
At least now... my feelings are on display.
Since I can't tell you, to your face...
Penned by my hand on the 24th of Chronos, in the year 835 AF.
Too proud to tell you how I feel.
