For tomorrow, I'll stock up on lime.
because right now, they cost but a dime.
and prices fluctuate all the time.
depending on fruit flies, embargos and swine.
In Guatemala, the limes grow deep
into their flesh the fertilizer does seep
so unless you want your cat to die and go 'meep!'
don't feed your cat limes that leap
from the tree
onto the ground and pee
because it's up to poison, not up to me
to see that your cat makes it safely to thee
not 6 feet under-ground
decaying away, pound by pound
until it's dead in a hole that's round
or piled atop a dead-kitty mound.
So take heed to this story I artfully tell
if you feed your cat limes, it's going to hell.
