Some say that words are as feathers upon the wind
Going from here to there and wherever that they go
Others say that words come to a swift and ill end
Losing their potency the moment from lips they flow
I say that words are like dreams and old memories
The kindnesses of them echo far into the distance
When the ills of life and fears begin to ever rise
Kind words at sea, on land become the resistance
