Silence Lingers
Written by: Aarashi Rasul Laniara Vorondil, Prophet of Enlightenment

Addressed to: Everyone
A mother weary, her young she at last to find
Pulled her daughters closely, peace of mind
Laughing together, smiling over merry a drink
To fight each other, none would ever think
Yet questions do arise, answers ever to seek
Why do none agree the Charter that they speak?
The mother left her home that she so did love
Determined to protect it all, her family above
Years did pass, their family did become strong
A fight here, then together a war years long
Finally the war over, threats to homes now gone
A loving mother, her daughters, family ever on
Yet peace was not to be, as a tyrant did arise
In her daughters' home, bloodlust in his eyes
The enemies that they did share, threats to all
Ignoring them he did, determined the east to fall
Rallying others fight after fight, blade not cease
Tyrant did forgo serving his sworn cause with ease
A full moon gazes overhead, across the nighttime sky
A mother falls at the hands of her daughters to die
No more hugs over mugs of mead, no more smiles to share
This Tyrant rose, silence lingers in the home there
Penned by my hand on the 5th of Ero, in the year 734 AF.
