The Lunalia

Ride the winds, lunalia,
for now you must make haste!
Ascend high and quickly fly,
lest this letter go to waste.

Ride the winds, lunalia,
and now take to the sky!
You have a task and it's due fast-
the time for flight is nigh.

Ride the winds, lunalia,
o'er land and sea!
Take no break, stay awake.
Deliver this for me:

a message to alight
upon this letter, crisp and white.
In daylight
and through the night,
these words to be revealed on sight.

Ride the winds, lunalia,
glide your way back home.
Let the breeze caress your soul,
flitting through the brome.

Ride the winds, lunalia,
and we shall not forget
all the words you have delievered,
sunrise to sunset.

Ride the winds, lunalia,
set your spirit free.
Be proud of all that you have left-
you've left a legacy.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Phaestian, in the year 709 AF.
