Springtime and Youth

Written in elegant calligraphy along the top of the drawing is the title, "Springtime and Youth". In the drawing, two young girls, one human, and the other atavian, her wings barely developed, sit in a lush valley, surrounded by greenery. Both girls are dressed in floral dresses, flowing to the knees, with poofy sleeves. The human's brown hair is pulled up into a bun on the top of her head, while the atavian's raven-black tresses flow freely in the breeze. Both girls' gazes are skyward, and they sit with hands clasped. Each girl holds in her free hand a newly-bloomed flower, held near her nose, as if breathing in the flower's scent.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Phaestian, in the year 708 AF.
