Ballad of the Storm

Written by: Tendril Laniara Vorondil, of the Oak Tree

There was a midnight clear
The enemy was coming near
The trumpets shouted as they tried to warn
Those protecting with the Ballad of the Storm

The battle grew fierce, as the arrows did fly
With dragons' breath hailing from the sky
The invaders, they surely did try
But afore they left, many did die

It was the Ballad of the Storm that day
Dawn was coming and night did fade
The enemies they thought that they were hot
But the Ballad of the storms blew their fire out

Assassinations did come about
As they tried the defenders later to take out
Yet each time the blade did turn
With corpses of enemies left to burn

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Miraman, in the year 706 AF.
