(originally performed at the show for Ashtan during the CIJ World Tour)

Sing a Song of Serpents

Sing a song of Serpents,
a House misunderstood
Skulking in the Shadows,
never up to good

Always into secrets,
never meaning harm
And if the end is Mayhem,
there's no cause for alarm.

It's in their very nature,
nothing personal
For secrets and the grief they cause
are in their arsenal.

Sing a song of Serpents,
the lovely slithering lot
The underside of Ashtan,
to never be forgot.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Phaestian, in the year 692 AF.
