The Dawn Will Rise

The night is here
Eternal, I fear
Yet I lift my eyes
For the Dawn will rise

Please do not cry
I beg, do not sigh
There comes a surprise
The Dawn shall rise

I know the sorrow you bear
It causes your heart to tear
Love lost is cast to the skies
For behold, the Dawn will rise

Listen to your heart, o maiden fair
Listen to the sound of butterflies in the air
Look, how they flutter to the skies
Yes, dear one, the Dawn will rise

Listen now to me
Please, pay heed
Let thy heart mend, for sorrow never to arise
Listen, Look, the Dawn did rise.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Daedalan, in the year 692 AF.
