Like the Dawn

Like the Dawn ever chasing the sky
Like the day, ever chasing the night
Never to meet, ever wonder why
All can be wrong, yet it felt so right

Like the Night pulls upon the sea
Ever changing, ever staying
Like the Moon calls to me
I find myself, kneeling, praying

Like the winds rushing by
So I let my love to fly
Ever to cry to eternity
Like the pain calls to me

Like the heart that beats in my soul
I lost that which I could not hold
Yet now, I finally see
That it was never meant to be

Still I pray
That one day
Yet eternity
Comes to me

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Glacian, in the year 691 AF.
