The Path

Written by: Predicant Laniara Vorondil

The path that I walk upon
Tis never very clear
The end seems so far
Yet it seems so very near

Long have I travelled upon
This dark, dusty road
Like a horse before his master
I feel a great load

How long must I travel
Until I reach the peace
How many tears must I cry
Until I find eternal ease

Shall I keep walking
And soon begin to pray
Or is this journey like any
Unending, day after day

Yet with hope in my hand
I soon shall finally see
Light, Goodness, Creation
Paradise for eternity

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Mayan, in the year 690 AF.
