Our Need

Written by: Byakko
Date: Monday, May 18th, 2015
Addressed to: Everyone

A cough was heard, a soft sound indeed
But from that softness there grew a need
A need that spread across our lands
And spread it did, through shivering hands
The waves are dark now, as we stall
Listening, waiting, for the call
How long can we all hold on?
How long until our silent dawn?
Is it too late for the gathering few?
Is it too late to start anew?
Through our strife we all must come
Together, again, for everyone

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Daedalan, in the year 684 AF.
