Fire

Written by: Arillis

Come, Fire, dance with me
let us burn all that hurts
to a black smoke carried by the wind.
Let us burn until the morning light,
until darkness turns to light.

You and me, Fire, let us be one.
Throwing light in the darkness,
and blinding those who see.
Let us warm the cold or sooth the wounds,
and burn the fools who touch us.

Come, Fire, die with me
let our flames turn to ashes,
like day turns to night.
Let us be reborn as Desire and Hope
in the hearts of others, while we are asleep.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ero, in the year 681 AF.
