like lightning streaks down the sky
what happened to your arrogance
your big life understanding
your lack of experience

you still want to grow up fast
little big fish in a small pond
hiding ignorance behind silence
hiding weakness behind rudeness
hiding shame behind bridges
you burned with your foolishness

the grey is starting to show
you are not in my dreams
your intentions spoke loud
but your actions have screamed
