The City of Hopelessness

-City of Hopelessness-

Flames will burn you to the ground,
the forest will take you and make you bound.

We will fight one another furiously,
Civil war and hatred,

Change does not exist,
mad passions out of control,
sleepy apathy making all null.

Split you in two, three, four,
joys within you will be no more.

Death to you while your Gods are self serving,
I watch you as you are slowly tortured from inside,
I ask,
Why?
Why?
Why am I here?
Why in Sapience do I hold you so dear?

Your death was mourned long ago,
die in your "Darkness" and scatter your ashes to and fro.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Sarapin, in the year 655 AF.
