It's never easy being you
Sometimes it's downright hard
When life is tough and things are bad
You can be badly scarred

The struggle seems too much to bear
And things come down on you
But then someone steps forth from nowhere
Reaching out to you

A ray of light bursts through the pain
And strikes you to the core
You gratefully accept the gift
And sometimes ask for more

But love is unconditional
And true until the end
She who gives and ask for naught
Is sureley your true friend
